🏃‍♂️ Rosebush Independence Day 5K

Come out for a fun Independence Day 5K. Walk or run, everyone is welcome! Stay and enjoy all the fun events that the village has to offer for the day. There is a classic car show, kids games, parade, live music and more. Bring the whole family for a day of fun after you get your morning 5k done. The race is stroller and pet friendly, we only ask that all dogs remain on a 6' leash.

🎽 Race Information

This year the race will be capped at 130 participants so register soon.

• Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a custom finisher medal.
• Shirt Options: Option to purchase a tri-blend T-Shirt or tech shirt if registered before 6/16/25.
• Packet Pickup: Available the day before at Runners Athletics in Mt. Pleasant from 4-6pm.
• Check-in Area: At the Rosebush Firehall next to the park starting at 7:15am the day of the race.

🕗 Race Schedule

• Start Time: 8:00 am
• Parking: Please park and pick up your packet, race bib, safety pins, and swag upon arriving.
• Race Bib: Your packet will contain your race number with the chip on the back: please wear your bib on the front.
• Results: Results will be live and available online at this website, not final until the last person finishes.

🏅 Post-Race Information

• Finish Line: Once you have finished the race, you will receive a finisher medal and a bottled water.
• Awards: Overall finishers male and female will receive a free gift card to Runners Athletics.
• Course: The 5k course will consist of running on sidewalks and road edges, please run into traffic while on any streets or roads.
• Fluid Stations: We will provide bottled water at the finish: no fluid stations are on the course.

🚻 Facilities and Accessibility

• Restrooms: Porta John’s will be available on site.
• Parking: Ample parking on site at the Rosebush park.
• Day-of Registration: Participants may register the day of the race via their phone or computer.
• Pets: Race is stroller and pet friendly: all dogs must remain on a 6' leash.
