Understanding Multiple Sclerosis
- Types: There are three types of MS: Relapsing-remitting, Secondary-progressive, and Primary-progressive.
- Symptoms: Symptoms may include fatigue, numbness, trouble walking, vision problems, and shock-like pain with neck movements.
- Diagnosis Time: A diagnosis of MS can take a significant amount of time, averaging up to 2 years.
- Physical Therapy: While it cannot cure MS, physical therapy can improve quality of life and independence.
