Katonah Road Races

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: September 6, 2025
• Location: The Village Green at Parkway and Edgemont, Katonah, NY, across from the Katonah Village Library
• Events: Katonah 5K, 1 Mile Kids Fun Run, and Kids Dash (no fee to register)
• Start Times: 5K at 8:00 AM, 1 Mile Kids Fun Run at 9:00 AM, Kids Dash at 9:20 AM

🌳 Race Details

• Course: The 5K is a combination road and trail run. Please be mindful that you will encounter natural obstacles such as loose gravel, rocks, and roots.
• Restrictions: Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course.
• Shirts: A free K5K t-shirt is available to the first 100 registrants: t-shirts can also be purchased on race day while supplies last.

🎗️ Community Support

• Socks Collection: We are collecting new socks to donate to the Community Center of Northern Westchester. Please consider bringing a pair ... or two! A collection box will be available for donations on the day of the race.
• Donate: Consider donating funds to support this cause.
• Community Spirit Sign: NEW this year - purchase a Community Spirit Sign for $25 to support your runner!
• Message: Your sign will be staked on the race route the day of the race to inspire your runner with a personalized message of love and support.

🤝 About KVIS

• Fundraiser: This event is co-sponsored by the Town of Bedford and is KVIS’s largest fundraiser, involving hundreds of people of all ages.
• Community Events: KVIS organizes inter-generational cultural and educational events, including the Katonah Halloween Parade and the Oscars Come to Katonah Film Series.
• Beautification Projects: KVIS supports projects such as the pollinator garden at the Katonah station and plantings along the train fencing.
• Partnerships: We partner with the Katonah Chamber of Commerce to support Katonah merchants through various events.
