🎉 Event Overview

Join Freedom Athletic Boosters &: 3D Running Club for the third annual Freedom Firecracker 5k on Saturday July 5th, 2025 at Freedom High School in Tampa! This exciting event is a celebration of Independence Day. This event is a timed 5k that welcomes participants of all skill levels, whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting your fitness journey. The course at Freedom High School provides a great 2 loop course finishing on our brand new all weather rubber track, creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for all.

📝 Registration Details

• Online Registration: Open until July 3rd and may reopen for onsite race day registration on July 5th from 6:45am - 7:45am.
• Inclusions: Registration fees include an electronically timed 5k, a t-shirt, custom bib, and finisher medal.
• Shirt Size Guarantee: Available for signups on or before June 28th, 2025.

🌍 Virtual Race Option

• Submission: Participants will be able to submit times but are not eligible for prizes.
• Inclusions: Registration fees include t-shirt, custom bib, and participation medal.
• Submission Deadline: Through July 5th at 10pm to submit times.
• Shirt Size Guarantee: Must signup before June 28th, 2025.

🏃‍♂️ 1 Mile Fun Run

• Registration: Online until July 3rd: onsite race day registration on July 5th from 6:45am - 7:45am.
• Inclusions: Registration fees include an electronically timed Mile, custom bib, and t-shirt.
• Shirt Size Guarantee: Available for signups on or before June 28th, 2025.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Early Pickup: Encouraged prior to race day: available on July 3rd from 5pm-7pm.
• Authorization: You may arrange for someone else to pick up your packet by providing their email address used during registration.

🏅 Awards Overview

• Finisher Medal: Participants will receive a medal as they finish each race.
• Winners: Overall male and female based on gun time: all other awards based on electronic time.
• Age Groups: Recognizes placements from 1st to 8th in several age categories.

📅 Awards Presentation

Awards will be presented at 10:00 AM at the Freedom High School Track. Overall male &: female finishers will receive prizes TBD.
