• Details: Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Manatee Viewing Center.

Race Purpose

• Route: Passes by the Manatee Viewing Center and through gorgeous trails on the FCTC campus.
• Support: Raises awareness and supports Tampa Electric’s manatee conservation efforts.
• Program: Benefits manatee research in collaboration with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Race Day Timeline

• 6:30 am: Race Day Bib Pick-Up Opens (no race day registration available).
• 7:40 am: Pre-Race Announcements.
• 8:00 am: 5K Starts.
• 9:00 am: Awards Ceremony.

Registration Information

• Bib Requirement: All participants must wear a 2026 race bib from pre-race pick up or race morning check-in.
• Virtual Registrants: Will NOT join the in-person event: shirts and medals will be mailed after the race.
• In-Person Items: Bibs, shirts, and finisher medals not picked up on race morning will not be mailed.
• Pets: Not permitted on-site due to facility regulations.

• Awards: Presented to 1st place male and female finishers in age groups from 12 and under to 80+.
