Race Options

• Distance Choices: The race includes 10K, 5K, and a 1K fun run/walk.

• Team Participation: Teams for schools, workplaces, or churches can be created or joined.
• Team Photos: Photos will be taken for the Allegany Website.
• Bragging Rights: A full year of bragging rights await!
• Team Results: A minimum of 3 team members must finish to obtain results based on the top 3 runners.

Race Name Significance

• Course Description: The course follows the GAP (Great Allegheny Passage) Trail through 'The Narrows'.
• Biblical Reference: The race name alludes to the path to eternal life (Matthew 7:13-14 NLT).

• Location: In front of the stage in the Canal Place Festival Grounds.
• Nearby Attractions: Public space with small businesses and restaurants.
• Trails Connection: Intersection of the C&O Canal Towpath and Great Allegheny Passage (GAP).

Accessing Canal Place

• From the East: I68 to Exit 43B (MD51/Industrial Boulevard/Airport) with parking available.
• From the East: I68 to Exit 43C (Downtown), turn left on W Harrison St to Canal Place.
• From the West: I68 to Exit 43C (Downtown), turn left on Queen City Drive to Canal Place.
