Event Details

• Date: Saturday December 13th, 2025
• Location: 44 Fort Ashby Road, Fort Ashby, WV 26719
• Event Types: 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk, Kids Fun Mile
• Course: The course is located on Dan’s Run Road. It will begin and end by the Fort Ashby Primary School. Awards and registration will be held in the Fort Ashby Primary School.

Parking Information

• Availability: Parking is available at the Fort Ashby Community Building and Trinity UM Church.
• Restrictions: Please do not park behind the Primary School: that area is a private road.

Age Groups

• 10 and under
• 11-13
• 14-16
• 17-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60 and over

Awards

• Overall Winners: Male and female 5K
• Masters: Male and female
• Age Group Finishers: Top three finishers per age/gender group in 5K
• Kids Awards: Ribbons to all kids 10 and under plus mile participants

Entry Fees

• Pre-Registration: $15.00 for 5K/2 Mile walk: $12.00 for Kids Fun Mile (if signed up by midnight November 21st)
• Race Day Registration: $20.00 for 5K/2 Mile walk: $15.00 for Kids Fun Mile after midnight November 21st

Other Information

• T-Shirts: Race T-shirts for all entries pre-register prior to November 28th. Remaining shirts will be given as supplies last.
• Proceeds: All proceeds go toward FHS Cross-Country Program

Schedule

• Race Day Registration: Opens at 7:45am-8:40am
• 5K/2 Mile Walk Start: 9:00am
• Kids Mile Start: Conclusion of 5K race/2 Mile walk (about 10am)
• Awards Presentation: Conclusion of Kids race (about 10:30am)
