Rivalry Renewed – Texas vs. OU Weekend
Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma Sooners — the ultimate showdown is here, and it’s your chance to run (or walk) for glory. Pick your colors, sprint past the “enemy,” strategically block a friend on the path, and cheer like every mile counts toward victory. Our beer pacers will keep you moving, whether you’re racing or taking it easy.
After the “epic battle,” refuel with breakfast tacos from That Taco Dude, toast with a cold Peticolas brew (or three), and grab your commemorative Longhorn or Sooner pint glass — perfect for celebrating wins or lamenting losses. Friendly trash talk guaranteed. Rivalry renewed, fun mandatory.
Participation Details
- Pace: Go at YOUR pace, run, walk, skip, whatever you like: the goal is to show up and have fun.
- Group Start: Join the 'group' start at 8:30 AM or start whenever you would like.
- Check-in: Check-in is between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM: please arrive by 9:00 AM.
- Trail: The three miles is on a trail near the brewery!
Refreshments and Perks
The social run includes the run/walk, a custom branded pint glass, three brews, and tacos from THAT TACO DUDE. The three Peticolas brews can be enjoyed in any combination, whether as drafts in the Taproom or as take-home cans.
Social Run Schedule
- 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Check in and start the social run/walk (rolling start)
- 8:30 AM: “Group” Start (for those who want to run with a group)
- 9:30 AM: That Taco Dude Breakfast
- 10:30 AM: Social run raffle
- 11:00 AM: Last call
- 11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends
Notes & Tips
- Check-in: Is between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the day of the social run/walk.
- Group start: If you want to run or walk with the group, check in before 8:30 AM.
- Weather: Social runs/walks are rain or shine: if the weather is bad, we will remain indoors and enjoy.
- Dogs: No dogs please, due to liability reasons they are not allowed.

Pricing: Purchase tickets online for $35, and please consider adding a tip for amazing BEERTenders at Peticolas!
Note that there are no refunds. Once you register, you are registered. If you don't pick up your social run goodies between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, you lose them, no exceptions.
