23rd Annual Raider Challenge

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Raider Challenge is a 5K or 10K combination road/cross country race that begins and ends at Quincy Notre Dame High School located at 10th and Jackson Street in Quincy, IL. The races will take you through one or two of Quincy's beautiful and historic river-bluff parks. Participants will enjoy the challenges presented by either course. The 5K course, with rolling hills and beautiful park scenery, is suitable for all ranges of participants. A 5K Walk is available for those who wish to participate at a more leisurely pace as well as a 5K Run for those a little more speedy. The 10K course offers several bluff views of the Mississippi River Valley. Competitors in the 10K will be challenged by the long hills in Indian Mounds Park and by Quincy&rsquo:s infamous Jackson Hill.

📝 Registration Details

• On-site Registration: You may register race morning from 5:45 AM to 6:45 AM in front of school entrance.
• Packet Pickup: Friday, 6/13/2025 from 3 P.M. - 6 P.M. at Quincy Notre Dame and on Race Day from 5:45 A.M. to 6:45 A.M.

🏆 Age Groups and Awards

• 5K: Under 13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and Over.
• 10K: 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and Over.
• Overall Winners: Overall top male/female winners in each run will receive an award.
• Competitive Walk: Overall top (3) male/female winners will receive an award.

Post-race results will be available on www.timingiseverything.com.

🍏 Post-Race Amenities

Participants can walk up to the snack bar for free bottled water and snacks when they are done racing.

Safety is our top priority. Updates will be provided on our Facebook Page as needed.

⚖️ Rules of the Road

• Prohibited Items: For your safety, we cannot allow rollerblades, skates, skateboards, scooters, bikes, or walking sticks.
• Strollers: Baby strollers and jogging strollers are not allowed due to course terrain.
• Pets: Pets strongly discouraged.
• Headsets: Headsets/headphones are discouraged. We are not responsible for missed instructions or accidents due to use.
