Come join a really fun crew for the Fourth Annual 5K RUN FOR THE DONUT on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Have a blast on a professionally chip-timed, flat, out-and-back course 5K course that travels through a beautiful wooded neighborhood. Stay for the awards while you enjoy your coffee, donut and other breakfast items!

5K RUN FOR THE DONUT IS SANCTIONED BY THE MANASOTA TRACK CLUB, AND IS IN THE 2025 RACING SERIES.

• Date: Saturday, February 15, 2025
• 5K Start: 8:00 am
• Fun Run Start: Approximately 30 minutes after 5K race start
• Location: Lakeview Elementary School, 7299 Proctor Rd in Sarasota

🚻 Parking & Facilities

• Parking: All parking is at the Sarasota Baptist Church across the street.
• Restrooms: Indoor bathrooms available at Sarasota Baptist Church: Port a Potties at Lakeview.
• Weather Policy: THIS RACE WILL HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE. Unsafe conditions will switch the race to virtual.

🏆 What to Expect

• Strollers and Dogs: Welcome.
• Water Stop: 1 water stop halfway through the course.
• Emergency Services: EMS will be on site at the school campus.
• Post-Race Treats: Enjoy coffee, donuts, and other breakfast snacks, with a vegan option!

👕 Registration Inclusions

Your Race Registration Includes:

• Race Shirt: A lightweight, 100% cotton, soft spun fitted shirt. MUST REGISTER BY FEB 1 TO BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT IN YOUR SELECTED SIZE! All shirts not claimed by the start of the race will be forfeited.
• Special Finisher Medal: Unique for this event.
• Awards: 6 deep in 17 age categories, Overall awards including male and female Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters and Veteran Grand Masters.
• Kid Zone: Child Care available while you run.

♻️ Sustainability Efforts

We are making every effort to have this be a NO WASTE RACE. If you don't like your award or the shirt doesn’t fit, you are welcome to exchange it for something else after the race. Look for the Award Exchange table in the race village.

💵 Important Information

• Refund Policy: No refunds: all registrations are donations to support Young Life in the Sarasota Community.
• Awards Collection: Available for two weeks at New Balance Sarasota, starting Monday the 17th if you are unable to stay for the ceremony.
• Fundraiser: This is a fundraiser for Young Life Sarasota.
