Event Details

• Race Options: Run, walk, or roll in our annual 5K race! A 1-mile fun run is also offered for the kids.
• Inclusive Participation: Strollers, wheelchairs, and friendly pets are welcome, but please line up in the back at the starting line.
• Prohibited Items: No bicycles or skates.

Donations

• Donate: If you prefer to donate to this great cause and skip the sweaty part, click the DONATE button above!

Prizes

• 5K Prizes: Men and women each have age categories with prizes for 1st place and ribbons for 2nd and 3rd.
• Overall Winners: 1st through 3rd overall winners for men and women will receive surprise prizes donated by generous donors.

Team Participation

• Team Prize: Create a fundraising team to group participants and donors.
• Top Team Reward: The team that raises the most money (including race registration fees) gets a prize!

1-Mile Fun Run

• Eligibility: Free for kids 9 and under who aren't ready for the 5K yet.
• Encouraging Healthy Habits: Running or fast walking this 1-mile course on the paved track around the park.
• T-Shirt Participation: Register online by the early bird end date to receive a t-shirt as a participation prize.
• Safety First: Plan on wearing the race t-shirt provided at check-in for safety reasons.

Event Celebration

• Activities: During the race, music and games are available for all participants and spectators to enjoy for free.
• Refreshments: Snacks and water will be provided for free.

Registration Information

• Pricing: Early-birds register for $38. Cost goes up to $43 through race day.
• Check-In: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. on race day at Odell Weeks Activity Center.

Race Course

• Location: Start at the Odell Weeks Activity Center (Virginia Acres Park), 1700 Whiskey Rd, Aiken, SC 29803.
• Course Details: The course is on paved streets in neighborhoods behind the park, mostly flat.
• Race Map: See the race map here.
• Water Station: There will be a water station at the 1.5-mile mark.

Safety Measures

• Volunteers: Race volunteers and the Department of Public Safety will be stationed throughout the race.
• Course Safety: This ensures that even young runners can safely stay on course.
