Shipshewana Mayfest Roadrun

Event Details

On Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, the Shipshewana Mayfest Road Run will be taking place as part of Shipshewana's Annual Mayfest celebration. The event will feature two races designed for runners of all ages and experience levels.

Race Schedule

• 1 Mile Fun Run: Starts at 8:15 a.m. near 345 North Morton Street at the Wolfe Building.
• 5K Shipshewana Road Run: Begins at 8:30 a.m. with a familiar course for past participants.
• Medals: Awarded to the top three boys and girls in the fun run.
• Prizes: Given to the top three men and women overall, and to winners in each age division.

Registration Information

• Pre-registration Cost: $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run (13 and under) and $20 for the 5K.
• Same Day Registration: Available for $20 and $25 respectively on race day.
• Pre-registration Deadline: Ends Friday, May 1st at 3:00 p.m.
• Check-in: Starts at 7 a.m. at the Wolfe Building: early arrival is encouraged.

Awards

• 5K Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall for men's and women's categories.
• Age Groups: Awards for ages 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
• 1 Mile Fun Run Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall for boys and girls.
• Participation Token: JoJo's free pretzel token for all participants in the fun run!
