Wakarusa Maple Syrup Festival 5K and 1 Mile Run

• 1-Mile Run Start Time: 7:30 AM
• 5K Start Time: 8:00 AM
• Location: Northwood Middle School, 301 North Elkhart Street, Wakarusa, IN 46573

👶 Participation Details

• Concurrent Events: The kids' mile run and competitive mile run will start at the same time.
• Multiple Events: If you want to participate in both the 1-mile race and the 5K, please sign up for both races.
• Inclusivity: Whether you're a seasoned competitive runner, a beginner, or a walker, you are all welcome!
• Maple Syrup Festival: Enjoy everything that the Maple Syrup Festival has to offer after your run or walk!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Multi-Person Pricing

• Group Registration: When you register 4 or more individuals simultaneously, you qualify for the Multi-Person Pricing option.
• Save on Fees: Group registration allows you to save $3.00 per registrant.
• Team Formation: Join an existing group/team or establish your own.
• Friends and Family: A fantastic opportunity to bring your loved ones together!

💵 Registration Fees

• November 28 - 30: $15.00 for 5K, $10.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $22.50 for Combo
• December 1 - 31: $18.00 for 5K, $13.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $28.50 for Combo
• January 1 - 31: $20.00 for 5K, $15.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $30.00 for Combo
• April 20 - 26: $30.00 for 5K, $20.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $45.00 for Combo

👧 Age Requirements

• 5K & Combo Event: Kids must be at least 6 years old on race day.
• 1 Mile 12/U Race: Kids must be at least 4 years old on race day.
• 1 Mile 13/U Race: Kids must be at least 13 years old on race day.
• Registration: All participants aged 4 and up must be registered.

🛑 Event Guidelines

• stroller Policy: Strollers are permitted in the 5K run/walk.
• Prohibited Items: Bikes, scooters, skates, and rollerblades are not allowed for safety reasons.
• Dog Guidelines: All dogs must be kept on a non-retractable leash and under supervision.
• Facility Restrictions: Dogs are not allowed in the middle school gym.

📅 Registration Deadline

• T-shirt Guarantee: Register before March 15, 2025, to secure your race t-shirt.
• Post Deadline: After March 15, t-shirt availability will be on a first come, first served basis.
• No Shirt Option: Choose the no shirt option and save $5.00.

🏁 Additional Information

• Chip Timing: Chip timing by Watts My Time.
• No Refunds: No refunds will be issued.
• Parking: Available at Northwood Middle School and Wakarusa Elementary School, 400 N Washington St, Wakarusa, IN 46573.
