Wakarusa Maple Syrup Festival 5K and 1 Mile Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
• Location: Northwood Middle School, 301 North Elkhart Street, Wakarusa, IN 46573
• Time: 1-mile runs at 7:30 AM, 5K at 8:00 AM
• Participation: Open to all - seasoned runners, beginners, and walkers!

🏅 Race Details

• Multi-Person Pricing: Register 4 or more individuals for a discount of $3.00 per person.
• Groups: Join an existing group/team or create your own.
• Combining Races: If you want to participate in both races, please sign up for each.
• Festival Fun: Enjoy the Maple Syrup Festival with family and friends after your run!

💵 Event Dates and Registration Fees

• November 28 - 30: $15.00 for 5K, $10.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $22.50 for Combo
• December 1 - 31: $18.00 for 5K, $13.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $28.50 for Combo
• January 1 - 31: $20.00 for 5K, $15.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $30.00 for Combo
• April 20 - 26: $30.00 for 5K, $20.00 for 1 Mile Runs, $45.00 for Combo

👶 Age Requirements

• 5K & Combo: Participants must be at least 6 years old on race day.
• 1 Mile 12/U: Must be at least 4 years old on race day.
• 1 Mile 13/U: Must be at least 13 years old on race day.
• Registration: All youth participants must be registered.

🚼 Event Guidelines

• Strollers: Permitted in the 5K run/walk.
• Prohibited Items: No bikes, scooters, skates, or rollerblades allowed.
• Dogs: Kept on a non-retractable leash and supervised at all times.
• Gym Policy: Dogs are not allowed in the middle school gym.

👕 T-shirt Registration

• Deadline: Register by March 15, 2025, for a guaranteed t-shirt.
• After Deadline: T-shirts available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• No Shirt Option: Save $5.00 by choosing not to receive a shirt.
• Refund Policy: No refunds.
