Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K and Donut 1-Mile Run / Walk

Race Overview

• Date: September 19, 2026
• Location: Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 SR 19 North, Nappanee, IN 46550
• Access: The church is situated 2 miles north of downtown Nappanee and south of Wakarusa.
• Participation: Whether you are an experienced competitive runner or a beginner, everyone is welcome to participate!

Apple Festival Celebration

• 50th Anniversary: We will be celebrating the Apple Festival's 50th Anniversary.
• Group Discount: Register 4 or more individuals simultaneously to save $3.00 per registrant.
• Team Options: Join an existing group/team or establish your own.
• Opportunity: A great chance to bring your friends or family together!

Start Times

• 1 Mile Run: Starts at 8:00 AM
• 5K Run/Walk: Starts at 8:30 AM

Packet Pick Up

• Friday Night: September 18 from 5-8 PM
• Saturday Morning: September 19 from 6:30 AM - 8:15 AM
• Location: Pick up shirts and race bibs at Nappanee Missionary Church.

Shirts

• Availability: After August 31st, shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until they are gone!
• Unclaimed Shirts: WILL NOT be mailed out if not picked up at the event.
• Remaining Shirts: Will be given to runners who were unable to receive one or will be donated.

Refreshments

• Finish Line Treats: All participants will receive apple, donut, and apple cider.

Awards Information

• 1 Mile Awards: Top 3 boys and top 3 girls in age groups: 12 and under, and 13 and older.
• 5K Awards: Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women finishers.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 male and female runners in each age group will receive a custom apple award.

Award Distribution

• Presentation: Awards will be presented shortly after the last participant crosses the finish line of the 5K.
• Mailing: Awards will not be mailed after the event.

Referrals

• Incentive: Refer 5 friends to signup and receive $10.00 back on your registration.
• Sharing: Look for your referral code in confirmation email or share on your Facebook!

Parking & Bathrooms

• Location: Available at Nappanee Missionary Church.

Timing

• Method: Chip timing by Watt’s My Time.

Guidelines for Dogs Attending the Event

• Policy: We love our furry friends, but dogs and pets are not allowed at the event.
• Service Animals: Certified service animals are always welcome.

Race Day Registration

• Online Only: Race day registration will be online only...NO PAPER REGISTRATION ON RACE DAY.
