• Purpose: Fundraising effort for AlphaFlight, a locally owned flight school.

🏅 Race Details

• Type: Competitive races with chip timing and overall/age group awards.
• Strollers: Welcomed, with registration required for children completing the course under their own power.
• Aviation: Experience numerous aircraft displays and optional helicopter rides (for a fee).
• Unique Opportunity: Races take place on the actual runway with food trucks and fun activities.

🥇 Plymouth Runway Mile

• Start Time: 9:00am
• Course: One-mile course starting on the south side of the airport building.
• Timing: Chip-timed with awards for overall and age group winners.
• Registration: Participants should estimate finish times for the possibility of wave starts.

🏃‍♀️ Plymouth Runway 5K

• Start Time: 10:00am
• Course: 5K course starting on the south side and running on the runway with a unique layout.
• Awards: Given for overall and age group winners, with no finisher medals.
• Finish Line: Closes at 11:00am with awards presented immediately after.

🎖️ Plymouth Runway Challenge

• Discount: Compete in both races at a lower price.
• Finisher Medal: Custom medal awarded for completing both races.
• Eligibility: Finishers eligible for individual race awards, but no performance awards for the challenge.
• Time Limits: Must complete both races within time limits to receive a finisher medal.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers in both Mile and 5K races.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 finishers in each age category for both races.
• Age Groups: Categories include 8 & under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, and more.
• Exclusions: Overall finishers do not qualify for age group awards.

📝 Registration

• Method: Registration must be completed through RunSignup.
• Closing Time: Registration closes 15 minutes prior to each race start.
• Shirt Sizes: Guaranteed with registration by 5/31. Discounts for opting out of shirts.
• Fees: Vary for Mile, 5K, and Challenge based on registration dates.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Location: 301 Airport Rd on June 12th from 3-6pm and June 13th from 7:00am.
• Proxy Pickup: You may collect someone else’s bib.
• Cards: Race bibs not available after each race starts, but shirts can still be picked up.

🚗 Parking Information

• Friday Parking: Available at the airport only.
• Saturday Parking: At Plymouth High School with shuttles to the airport.
• Shuttle Schedule: Buses run from 6:30am to 12:30pm.
• Staff Assistance: Available at both pickup and drop-off locations.

💰 Refund Policy

• Timeline: 100% refund minus processing fee if requested by 5/31/26.
• No Refunds: Starting 6/1/26: no refunds for cancellations due to inclement weather.
