• Early Bird Deadline: July 1st, so sign up now to make sure you get your FREE T-SHIRT in the correct size.
• Availability: Limited on race day!

🌅 Race Overview

• Location: A one-mile run around the scenic Mill Pond in New London, Minnesota.
• Timing: It is not an officially timed race: we encourage participants to bring a wearable timer or stopwatch.
• Family Fun: A fun run for all ages, taking place each July before the annual Water Days parade.

🎓 Cody and Jim Berg Scholarship Fund

• Origin: Started in 2000 by Jim and Shelly Berg to honor their son, Cody, who died in a car-bike accident in 1999.
• Scholarships: Proceeds go to provide college scholarships for members of the New London Spicer graduating class. View the Scholarships page.

❤️ In Memory of Jim Berg

• 2022 Loss: Jim passed away after a short battle with cancer.
• Fund Name Change: The scholarship fund was renamed the "Cody and Jim Berg Scholarship Fund."
• Community Support: The race continues due to the dedication of the Berg family, friends, volunteers, and sponsors.
