• Pick Up Opportunities: Race packet pick up will be available on Friday, August 21st at Blue Design Co., 114 E Blossom Street, Ripon from 4:00-6:00pm.
• Race Day Pick Up: Or race day, Saturday, August 22nd beginning at 8:30am at Vines & Rushes.

💖 About the First We Live Foundation

• Foundation Purpose: First We Live Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity that was founded in memory of Nicole Moniz.
• Mental Health Advocacy: Nicole was a supporter and champion of mental health during her life, both personally and professionally, as a social worker and community volunteer.
• Annual Event: The Nicole Moniz Memorial 5K has become an annual event in her honor to raise awareness and support our mission.
• Community Impact: Our mission focuses on supporting integrated mental health programs and services for those facing societal barriers.

💡 Core Belief of the Foundation

The primary thing we, as humans, all have in common is that first we live. From the moment we come into this world, the thing that unifies each of us — that defines our existence and our purpose — is that we’re living beings. Living, therefore, must never be taken for granted. First we live… so we can. We live so we can both help and be helped. We live so we can experience the incredible moments and persevere through the challenging ones. We live so we can endure the pain and relish the joys. Through this core belief, we give ourselves the chance to first just live. We live for others and for ourselves. The central truth is that, above all else… first we must live.

We support and cultivate access to integrated mental health programs and services for those who encounter societal barriers in identifying and attending to their mental health needs, especially youth and those engaged in helping professions.

• In-Person Participants: T-shirt and size NOT GUARANTEED for IN PERSON PARTICIPANTS registering after AUGUST 10th.
