Come support the Parkinson's Connection at the Cherry Hill Katz JCC by joining the POWR 5K/1 Mile Walk. The 5K run will take place on our picturesque, USATF-certified course through a local Cherry Hill neighborhood. Whether you are a seasoned runner or simply want to walk for a great cause, this is a race you don't want to miss!
🧠 About Parkinson's Connection
Since 2018, the Parkinson’s Connection at the Katz JCC has offered fitness classes and support groups for people with Parkinson's Disease as well as their caregivers and families. The program strives to be accessible in various ways:
- Financially: Accessible with free as well as paid class offerings.
- Physically: Accessible with class options offered virtually over Zoom and in-person.
- Functionally: Classes offered at a wide variety of levels, seated or standing, for all levels of Parkinson's.
- Every Day: Classes offered six days a week with a virtual library accessible 24/7.
