MKK's Rugged Race Presented by Independence Bank

Event Overview

We':re so excited for the annual MentorKids Kentucky Rugged Race at Diamond Lake Resort! Participants will experience a 5K race with 28 obstacles, including water crossing, barbed wire, rope climbs, mud, and much more!

Race Categories

• Elite Category: This category is for serious athletes ready to win.
• Ultimate Category: For those who want to run as a team or just run for fun!
• 5K and 10K Trail Runs: No obstacle options available.
• XTreme 10K: A combination of a 5K trail run plus a 5K with obstacles.

Awards and Medals

• Finisher’s Medal: All participants will receive a medal and t-shirt.
• Overall Winners: Additional medals for the overall male and female winners in elite and ultimate categories.
• Top Team Trophy: A trophy will be awarded to the top team.
• Rugged Kids: This category is for ages 8-13.
