Santa Rosa Turkey Trot

🦃 Event Overview

Join us -- rain or shine -- on Thanksgiving Day for the Santa Rosa Turkey Trot! Once again, we will gather at Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa on the one day that it's totally quiet there. NEW COURSE in 2025! We had a new course for 2024 but the rain got in the way. This year, we're going to run it! The course is now a flat figure eight that takes you through town, out onto the Prince Memorial Greenway and then home.

🏃‍♀️ Race Details

These are chip-timed races on a flat course that has both pavement and packed dirt. Come and run or cheer. Or both!

• Costumes: Costumes are welcome, so break out your turkey suit, and let's go!
• Distance: The Turkey Trot is a 5k race that you can run, jog, or walk. Whether you're a steely competitor or just looking to walk with your family, this is for you. Finish with a smile on your face!
• Start Time: The 5k starts at 8:30 am, and the TINY Turkey starts at 9:30 am.
• Tiny Turkey: The TINY Turkey is a short run around the lawn at Old Courthouse Square for children under 5. This is a 50-yard dash that's very fun. Get your camera/cell phone ready!

Santa Rosa Turkey Trot is a Learning is Open event. Learning is Open is a 501c3 non-profit. This event benefits the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
