🦃 Welcome to the Santa Rosa Turkey Trot

Join us -- rain or shine -- on Thanksgiving Day for the Santa Rosa Turkey Trot! Once again, we will gather at Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa on the one day that it's totally quiet there. NEW COURSE in 2025! We had a new course for 2024 but the rain got in the way. This year, we're going to run it! The course is now a flat figure eight that takes you through town, out onto the Prince Memorial Greenway and then home.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Chip-timed races: These are chip-timed races on a flat course that has both pavement and packed dirt.
• Costumes: Costumes are welcome, so break out your turkey suit, and let's go!
• Date: The event will take place on November 27, 2025.
• Location: Old Courthouse Square, Santa Rosa, CA.

🎽 Ways to Participate

Here are the ways to take part:

• Turkey Trot 5k: A 5k race that you can run, jog, or walk. Whether you're a steely competitor or just looking to walk with your family, this is for you. Finish with a smile on your face! Starts at 8:30 am.
• TINY Turkey: A short run around the lawn at Old Courthouse Square for children under 5. This is a 50-yard dash that’s very fun. Get your camera/cell phone ready! Starts at 9:30 am.

The Santa Rosa Turkey Trot is a Learning is Open event. Learning is Open is a 501c3 non-profit. This event benefits the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
