About this race
Welcome to the Twas the Night Before 5K
Join the Siembida & Boggs Philanthropic Foundation for the 14th annual "Twas the Night Before 5K" taking place on Tuesday, December 1st, 2026, at Firestone Park in Columbiana. The 5K run/walk will begin at 6:00pm and is chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown. The start and finish line are located near Pavilion #1 which is next to Mirror Lake.

Registration Information
- Included: Participant long sleeve shirt, commemorative Rudolph finisher medal, and chip-timed custom bib number.
- Optional: Limited-edition Santa medal available for purchase.
- Deadline: Online registration closes on November 28th at midnight.
- Packet Pickup: Required before the race, no race day pickup or registration.
Packet Pickup Locations
- Date: Saturday, November 28th, from 12 PM - 3 PM at Fleet Feet Boardman. Address: 1449 Boardman-Canfield Road #250, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
- Date: Sunday, November 29th, from 12 PM - 3 PM at Birdfish Brewery. Address: 140 E. Park Avenue, Columbiana, Ohio 44408.
- Contents: Your packet will include your commemorative medal, long sleeve participant shirt, and chip-timed custom bib number.
- Virtual Option: Choose to pick up your packet or have it mailed for $13.
Awards
- Overall Awards: Top three overall males and females.
- Age Categories: Top three males and females in the following categories: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Up.
- Award Presentation: Inside the pavilion shortly after participants finish.
- Participants Enjoy: Cookies and festive music by a DJ!
After Party
A free after party for participants will take place at Birdfish Brewery, which is family-friendly and just a short distance from the race!
Special Notes
Please be aware due to the size of the event, the darkness, and lack of space that the only dogs permitted at this event are service dogs in the appropriate service harnesses.
