Event Overview

Come sample some of the sweetest single-track in Western PA at the Tapped for Sap 25k+!

Location

Join runners and hikers this spring to celebrate the trails of Brady’s Run Park. Nearly all of the park’s 2,000 acres will be on display, as the course hits every corner on a unique and challenging loop.

Course Description

Terrain: 25% paved, 75% trail, runnable terrain with rooty and rocky sections.
Elevation: Approximately 2,300’ of ascent and descent.
Loop: A unique 16-ish mile loop created by Jason Maruccio.
Hills: Rolling hills with a few significant climbs and descents.

Awards

1st male and female will receive the Golden Sap Bucket. 2nd and 3rd will also be recognized.

Post Race Breakfast

Enjoy that post run glow and camaraderie with a pancake breakfast.

Participant Information

Hikers: Welcome! All participants have 8hrs (until 4pm) to be counted as a finisher and must reach the aid station at 7.5miles before it closes at noon.
Swag: Each participant will receive a sleeveless tech-shirt and a Rabbit brand ice RAD-dana.
Registration: 300 registration spots available. Registrations after March 23th are not guaranteed shirts.
Volunteers: All registered helpers will receive a t-shirt, food, and heaps of gratitude for their service.

Event Details

Camping & Potluck: Camping is available near the start line Friday night. A potluck/pizza social is planned the night before the race.
Bib Pick-up: At Brady's Run Lodge Friday 4/24 4pm-6pm & Saturday 4/25 (Race Day) 6am-745am.
Race Start: The race will begin at 8AM on Saturday 4/25/26.
Expectations: Water, coffee, and donuts will be available for participants before the race.

Course Markings & Aid Stations

Markings: Orange ground flags and orange ribbons. Arrows and signs at trail intersections.
Water Stops: Water stop at 4.5 mi: two maple syrup shot stations at 6.75 mi and 12 mi.
Aid Station: Fully stocked aid station at 7.5mi with drinks and snacks.
Bathrooms: Port-a-johns at start/finish and aid station, with permanent facilities scattered throughout the park.

Directions & Parking

From I-376, take Chippewa exit to PA-51/Constitution Blvd South, at the intersection of Brady’s Run Road turn right. Drive approximately 1 mile, follow event signs, and turn left. Parking will be in a grass field between Brady’s Run Lodge & Shelter 7.
