Race Registration Information

• Shirt Guarantee: To guarantee a shirt, please register early! Only 250 shirts were ordered this year!
• Shirt Availability: Register early to get the shirt size you want. As shirt sizes become unavailable they will not show up for you to select.
• Selection Option: Once sizes are gone, they are unavailable. Select a size that is still available or select "none" when you register.

Race Series Overview

• Events Offered: The Alma Highland Festival Series of Races includes a Kids Fun Run, a 5K run, and a 5K walk.
• 10K Event: We will not be hosting a 10K event this year.

Wristband Information

• Age Requirement: Anyone aged 11 and up who registers for the race (5K Run/Walk) will receive a wristband good for entry onto the grounds of the Highland Festival.
• Kids Entry: Kids aged 10 and under are free and do not need a wristband for entry.

Festival Overview

• Heritage Celebration: The Alma Highland Festival is one of the nation’s premiere Scottish Festivals, celebrating Alma’s rich Scottish heritage.
• Event History: Now, in its 57th year, the Festival is a two-day event filled with world-class Highland Dance competitions, Bagpipes and Drumming, Scottish athletic events, multiple music venues displaying Scottish talent, children’s games, reenactment events, craft shows and much more.
• Family Participation: Many families enjoy the Festival Race and then spend the rest of the day, or the entire weekend at the Festival events.
• Location: Come see why Alma is known as Scotland USA!

Registration Fee Details

• Fee Includes: Registration fee for the 5K Run/Walk includes a wristband to enter into festival grounds (a $20 value) and a race tee.
