🎖️ Poppy Run Overview

A 5k race for veterans organizations in memory of those who fought for our freedom.

Poppy Run 5k: Honoring Our Nation's Fallen Heroes. Founded by Grady Langenderfer as a tribute to his grandfather's friends who never made it home from Vietnam. This year's proceeds support Flag City Honor Flight, Fisher House Foundation.

📅 Event Details

• Date: May 23rd, 2026
• Location: Fulton County Fairgrounds, Wauseon, Ohio
• Event Start: Begins with a pre-race Memorial Day ceremony
• Race Types: 5k run/walk and a kids' 1/2 mile race to follow

🏅 Awards and Recognition

Finisher medals and age group awards will be given, but please note that awards will not be shipped and participants must be present for the awards ceremony.

• Overall Awards: Overall Male/Female and Overall Masters (40+)
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 in each age group receive a banner!
• Age Groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 & older.
