🏃‍♂️ WHAT: DASH FOR THE DERBY 5K

• Walkers Welcome: Walkers are encouraged to participate in the event.

📅 WHEN: SATURDAY MAY 2ND

• Time: 9 AM
• Location: Marathon Sports, 309 Marginal Way, Portland, ME

❤️ FOR WHOM:

• Beneficiary: Race makes donations to “A Running Passion”

💵 COST:

• Early Bird: $28 for pre-registration by September 30th
• Registration: $32 through February 28th
• Standard Fee: $35 thereafter
• Race Day: $39

🎖️ AWARDS:

• Prizes: Cash prizes for overall winners.
• Awards: Awards in age groups and team categories.
• Course Records: Male: Elijah Caret 16:47 (2021): Female: Marisa Smith 22:05 (2021)

📍 RACE PICKUP:

• Time: 7:30-9 AM
• Location: Marathon Sports, Marginal Way, Portland, ME
• Parking: Please use the park and ride on Marginal Way to leave parking spaces for Marathon Sports customers.

🍽️ POST RACE:

• Refreshments: Post race refreshments & awards ceremony immediately following the race at Marathon Sports.

⚠️ REFUND POLICY:

• No Refunds: In the event of catastrophic weather, public health crisis, or extreme events beyond race management's control, every effort will be made to hold the race on an alternate date.
• Virtual Event: If an alternate date is not possible, the race will be transformed into a virtual event where participants run the course & submit their results on their own.
