🎗️ About the Race
Join us for the 4th Annual Mental Health Matters 5K, a community event dedicated to raising awareness, breaking stigma, and supporting teen mental health.
This race is hosted by the Active Minds/KyleCares Club at Greely High School, in partnership with KyleCares—a nonprofit committed to promoting open, honest conversations about mental health among teens and young adults. Together, we aim to create school and community environments where seeking help is encouraged, supported, and free from shame.
🌟 Our Mission
At the heart of this event is a simple but powerful message: It’s okay not to be okay.
- Challenges: Adolescence is a time of significant change and challenge.
- Awareness: Striving to ensure that no student feels alone.
- Support: Encouraging help-seeking behavior and reducing stigma.
- Resources: Providing safe spaces for students.
💪 Our Impact

- Engagement: Brought numerous and impactful speakers to students and staff.
- Outreach: Expanded outreach to younger grades (4–8).
- Culture: Fostered a culture of empathy, connection, and support.
- Dialogue: Encouraged open dialogue around mental health.
