🎉 History

• Tradition: The Saint Louis classic road race returns for the 54th year!
• First Held: This race was first held in 1971, making it the longest-running half marathon in the St. Louis region.
• Race Options: Both virtual and in-person options will be available.

📍 Race Details

• Start/Finish Line: LOCATED AT THE MUNY FESTIVAL GROUNDS (the parking lot on Summit Drive behind The Muny).
• Packet Pickup: Available at Running Niche on November 7 (1:00pm-6:00pm) and at Forest Park Visitor's Center on November 8 (10:00am-4:00pm).
• Morning of Race Pickup: Begins at the start/finish line at 6:00am.
• Packet for Friends: You may pick up the packet of a friend or family member.

🚑 Support and Aid Stations

• Aid Stations: Located at approximately miles 1.4, 4.3, 4.5, 6.4, 7.1, 9.25, 12.1, and 12.4 for Half Marathon: mile 1.5 for 5K.
• Post-Race Amenities: Plenty to eat and drink at the finish line.

🏅 Awards and Recognition

• Prize Money: Awarded to the top three overall male and female runners for the in-person Half Marathon.
• Overall Winners: $500 for first place, $250 for second, and $100 for third for both genders.
• Age Group Awards: Available for ages under 19 through 70+ for the Half Marathon.
• 5K Awards: Provided for the top three overall male and female finishers.

📝 Registration Information

• Registration Deadline: Closes at 11:59pm on November 5, 2025.
• Late Registration: No race day registrations or registrations at packet pickup will be accepted.
• Medals and Shirts: Ordering must be done well in advance: no guarantees for late registration.
• Quality Material: The race day shirt for both distances will be made of a higher quality, super-soft premium material.

⏰ Race Day Information

• Start Times: Half Marathon at 7:30am (open start until 7:40am), 5K at 8:00am (open start until 8:10am).
• Awards Eligibility: Only participants starting at their respective gun times will be eligible for awards.
• Expected Finish Time: Final finisher typically completes around 11:00am.
• Early Start: Encouraged for those with an average pace of 14:00/mile or slower to start at 7:00am.
