Effingham County Fair 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Race will start and finish on the horse track in front of the grandstands, you will take a loop around the track out into the fairgrounds finishing on the track where you started and completing 3.1 Miles with music, Start and Finish.

⏱️ Timing and Registration

• Professional timing: Professional chip timing by Kinetic Timing will be used to time the race.
• Shirt guarantee: Register before July 21st to guarantee a Race Shirt. NO SHIRTS AVAILABLE ON RACE MORNING.
• Packet pickup: Race Morning Packet pickup and Race day registration will be between 6:45 - 7:15am.
• Race start time: Race START at 7:30 AM sharp.

🏞️ Course Details

The runners will begin on the Fairgrounds track in front of the grand stands, complete 4/5th of the track and exit the track on the south entrance road then runners will head toward Gilbert Park between the ball fields and onto the NEW ACHS/AGS Track, complete two loops, grab some water and head back toward the south of Gilbert Park. Then head back on the south entrance road toward the south entrance of the Fairgrounds track near the stables and run another 4/5th of the Fairs track. Water will be position at 1 locations on the course just after the 1st mile (1.15) just as you begin your country grass loop.

🥇 Awards

Awards will be given to the Top 3 Male and Female Runners.

🎉 Event Highlights

Come and run the annual Effingham County Fair 5K, famous for the Pork Producers Stand, Talent Show, Demo Derby, Fair Queen Pageant, Horse Races and Tractor pull. Were kicking the whole fair week off with the 5K run.
