🏁 Race Overview

• Location: 722 E Cumberland Rd, Altamont, IL.
• Distance: 3.1 Miles loop around the horse track and fairgrounds.
• Timing: Professional chip timing by Kinetic Timing.

📅 Important Dates

• Registration Deadline: July 21st to guarantee a Race Shirt.
• Packet Pickup: July 26th, 6:45 - 7:15 AM.
• Race Start: 7:30 AM sharp.
• Note: No shirts available on race morning.

🏃‍♂️ Race Course Details

• Start/Finish: Horse track in front of the grandstands.
• Course Layout: Loop around the track, exiting to Gilbert Park and completing two loops on the new track.
• Water Stations: Positioned at 1 location just after the 1st mile (1.15).
• Runner Path: Return on the south entrance road toward the Fairgrounds track.

🏆 Awards and Attractions

• Awards: Given to the Top 3 Male and Female Runners.
• Event Highlights: Famous for the Pork Producers Stand, Talent Show, Demo Derby, Fair Queen Pageant, Horse Races, and Tractor pull.
• Special Occasion: Kicking off the entire fair week with the 5K run.
