This spirited community event in Oconee, IL, is designed to support our dedicated volunteer fire department. This exciting race takes place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM. Whether you're an avid runner, a casual jogger, or a walker, this event welcomes participants of all fitness levels.

🌳 Race Route

The race winds through the charming streets of Oconee, offering a scenic route that showcases the beauty of our town. Along the way, you'll be cheered on by friendly faces and enthusiastic supporters.

💰 Proceeds

All proceeds from the FIREHOUSE 5K will directly benefit the Oconee Volunteer Fire Department, helping to fund essential equipment, training, and resources needed to keep our community safe.

📝 Registration Information

• Early Bird Registration: $30 (until June 30th)
• Regular Registration: $35 (August 1st to October 5th)
• Oct 6th to Race Day Registration: $40

🏆 Awards

Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in various age categories. Additionally, there will be a special award for the best "Firehouse Spirit" costume, so feel free to get creative and show your support for our fire department!
