🐾 Join the 10th Annual ARF 5K Run & Walk With The Dogs!

Get ready for an exciting community event supporting the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). On Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Memorial Park in Beacon, NY, animal lovers and athletes of all ages will lace up and hit the pavement to make a difference—with 100% of the proceeds going directly toward rescuing and caring for animals in need.

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview:

• Event Type: 5K Run & Walk with the Dogs.
• Timing: The races are timed with chipped running bibs.
• Kids Participation: Kids 3 and under participate for free!
• Fun Factor: A fun-filled race where every child earns a finisher prize.

📅 Schedule of Events:

• 9 AM: Check-in & Registration
• 9:50 AM: Dog Costume Contest: Most Original & Most Hilarious Costume
• 10 to 10:15 AM: 1K Kids Fun Run
• Immediately After: 5K Run & Walk with the Dogs

🎉 Post-Race Fun:

Stick around for awards, music, games, face painting, vendor exhibits, raffles, and more! Participants who fundraise can also earn exclusive prizes for reaching their fundraising goals.

💰 Registration Fees:

• 5K Run & Walk: $30 – Early Bird Special Rate
• Regular Rate: $35 – Starts April 1st
• Race Day: $40
• 1K Kids Fun Run: $15 – Early Bird Special Rate

Sign up early to guarantee your swags. All participants who register by April 30th will receive:

• 10th Annual Commemorative Item
• Custom Dog Tag for your four-legged companion

☔ Weather Policy:

The event is held Rain or Shine and is non-refundable.

🐶 Dog Policy:

Dogs that are non-aggressive toward people and other animals are welcomed on the 5K race course. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations and always leashed. Retractable leashes, including bungy-style leashes, are prohibited at any time. Each adult participant may be accompanied by one (1) dog and that dog will receive an event dog tag.
