🏃♂️ The Vinings Down Hill 5K Run for the Kids
On August 8th, 2026, an anticipated 2,000 runners, walkers, and spectators, will gather for the 2026 Vinings Downhill 5K race. The Vinings Down Hill 5K course begins at the top of Mt. Wilkinson, winds around the Cumberland Mall area, and ends at the Lovett School (280-foot net drop).

- Course Start: Begins at the top of Mt. Wilkinson
- Course Features: Winds around the Cumberland Mall area
- Course End: Ends at the Lovett School (280-foot net drop)
- Hills: There are 3 hills to climb:
- At the half-mile mark
- During the second mile
- During the last half-mile
