2026 0.5K OKTOBERFEST FUN RUN

Join the Elm Grove Community Foundation 0.5K Fun Run presented by Honest Teeth & sponsored by O’Donoghue’s, along with your fellow underachievers for a day (actually more like 15 minutes) of glory and celebration to kick off Elm Grove's Annual Oktoberfest! Race proceeds will benefit the Elm Grove Community Foundation. The "race" (emphasis on the air quotes) will start at O'Donoghue's Irish Pub and will finish....well, at 3:45 P.M. at the Oktoberfest beer tent! SPACE IS LIMITED SO REGISTER NOW!

ABOUT THE RACE

• Start Location: The "Race" will start at O'Donoghue's Irish Pub - check-in will take place in the parking lot at 2:00 P.M. and the "race" will start promptly at 3:30 P.M.
• Pre-Race Beer: Our friends at O'Donoghue's will provide all participants with a free beer (beer-aid station #1 of 3) before the start of the race.
• Course Details: The "race" will head across Watertown Plank, down Elm Grove Street, to Juneau where you will encounter challenging obstacles.
• Finish Line Celebration: The "Race" will continue into the village park where you will finish in a blaze of glory at the Oktoberfest tent (beer-aid station #3)...which will conveniently be filled with MORE BEER!

EVENT DETAILS

• Registration Cost: $35 EARLY BIRD Race Registration (through June 25, 2026)
• Standard Registration: $40 June 26- September 19
• Kids Registration: $15 Kids Race Registration (Ages 2-12)
• T-Shirt Availability: IF YOU WANT A T-SHIRT - YOU MUST REGISTER BY END OF DAY SEPTEMBER 2.

GOODIES AND FUN STUFF

• Free Beer: 3 FREE BEERS will be provided during the race.
• Pre-Race Program: Starts at 3 P.M. at O'Donoghue's with the World’s BEST accordion player (Roger Boll).
• Participation Medals: Everyone gets recognized for their achievements, no matter how bad they are.
• Live Music: Activities include a designated smoking section called nature, the medical tent, and music at the finish line.

FESTIVITIES

The festivities will kick off in the Elm Grove park on Friday, September 19, at 5 PM with German and local beers and an array of food trucks. We will also enjoy the music of Evan and Tom Leahy, as we gear up for the big event!
