• Organizer: The Fort Gibson American Legion and Trail of Honor Flags
• Event: 6th Annual Trail of Honor 5k & Fun Run

• Purpose: To honor service members and make flags permanent at the National Memorial Cemetery

Race Participation

• Flag Carrying: Runners have an option of carrying a flag throughout the race.
• Registration: Respond with 'yes' if you would like to carry a flag when registering.
• Honor Service Members: Participants will honor current and past service members as they run through the flags on Memorial Day weekend.
• Growth Goal: The event aims to grow to 500 participants, with a growth of approximately 25 runners each year.

T-shirts

• Guaranteed: For all participants who sign up by May 9th
• Availability: First Come First Serve from May 10th to the day of the event

Registration Fees

• Pre-Sale: $20 for Fun Run & $25 for 5k from Memorial Day to 4th of July
• Fun Run: $25 from 7/5/25 to 5/9/2026 & $30 from 5/10/2026 to Race Day
• 5k: $30 from 7/5/25 to 5/9/2026 & $35 from 5/10/2026 to Race Day
