Okie Half - Half Marathon & 5k

Race Overview

I:40 Race Service with the help of the Muskogee Running Club and Muskogee Parks & Recreation will host the Okie Half on March 14, 2026. Okie Half 2026 will feature a flat certified course that starts/finishes inside the newly restored "Hanger 1", now called the Hatbox Events Center. We can't stress enough the flatness of this course! Also has cool features like going by the historic ROXY Theatre, "Circling Merle" at the Merle Haggard Statute, and going through Muskogee's Depot District. The 5k course is also on the flat track that is USATF Certified and mostly run the loop trail around Hatbox Sports Complex.

Event Features

• Age Group Prizes: 1st Place Mugs for top runner in every Half Marathon Age Groups, 5 year age groups to 80 & Over.
• Finisher Medals: Cast finishers medals for half finishers & first place in each 5k Age Group (wood medals for 2nd & 3rd).
• Post Race Meal: BBQ Meal afterwards for Half Runners, and lots of refreshments for 5k Runners.

Event Details

• Packet Pickup: The packet pickup will be on Friday evening March 13th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Hatbox Events Center - 630 S 40th Street Muskogee, OK. You do not have to pick up your packet on Friday. They will be available on race day starting at 6:30 am.
• Start Times: 7:45 am for the Half, 8:00 am for the 5k.
• Time Limit: For the half marathon the time limit is 4:15 (Must finish by noon).
• Course Certification: Both the 5k and Half Marathon course will be on flat and certified courses. Click here to see course maps at okiehalf.com.

Awards & Medals

• Custom Finisher Medals: All the Half Marathoners will get a custom finishers medal!
• Age Group Medals: There will be age group medals for the 5k, 1st Place Cast Medals, 2nd and 3rd Wood Medals.
• Trophies: One of a kind trophies for the top 3 Male and Female overall winners of the half and the 5k.
• Shirts: 5k runners and Half Marathon Runners will get a guaranteed t-shirt if they sign up by March 1st. First come first serve after March 1st.

Registration Fees

• Early Bird (March to June): 5k: $25, Half Marathon: $60.
• Early Bird (July to October): 5k: $27.50, Half Marathon: $65.
• Regular Price (November to Valentine's Day): 5k: $32.50, Half Marathon: $70.
• Month of Price (February 15th to March 14th): 5k: $40, Half Marathon: $75.

Weekend of Pricing

• In Person Sign Up (3/13 & 3/14): 5k: $37.50, Half Marathon: $80.
• Late Registration: In-person registration will be available on Friday and Saturday.

After Race Food

A Half Marathon entry includes a meal at the finish line from Mother Tucker's BBQ Food Truck. 5k participants and spectators are welcome to purchase a meal. There will also be cold food and drinks provided to 5k and Half participants.
