What: 5k & 12 hour race
Purpose: To support our Elevate missions project
When: 5k starts Sat, Feb 15, 2025 @ 9:30am / 12 hour race starts Fri, Feb 14, 2024 @ 8:45pm
Where: First Baptist Church campus in Santa Maria, CA

5k: $22
12 Hour: $45 (This is a bargain! The average price for 12 hour races here in CA is $155.)

Challenge: For only $22 you can challenge yourself to complete the 5k (3.1 miles) race.
Awards: Awards will be given to the winners in both distances for the different age groups at the 10:30am awards ceremony.
Participation: While this is a competition, everyone is invited to participate regardless of age or physical ability.
Arrival: Runners must arrive by 8:45 on race morning to receive their race bib and all final instructions before the race begins at 9:30am.

Adventure: How far do you think you could run and walk in 12 hours?
Schedule: The race runs from Friday night at 8:45pm until Saturday morning at 8:45am.
Experience: Each lap is 1 mile, and you can take breaks as often as you'd like.
Support: Friends and family members are invited to spend the evening there with us supporting and encouraging the participants.

Loop Distance: Each loop is 1.036 miles for the 5k, three loops total.
Adjustments: For the 12 Hour race, each loop is adjusted to 1 mile.
Camping: Bring a comfortable chair, footrest, change of clothes, blankets and anything else that can help make your experience more comfortable.
Safety: 12 Hour runners will need to have either a headlamp or flashlight for the back portion of the loop.

5k: Water, Gatorade and bananas during the race and celebratory ice cream sandwiches at the end for all finishers.
12 Hour: Variety of hot and cold drinks and solid foods will be available for participants.
