🏃‍♂️ Overview

• Presented by: Asics and Race Penguin
• Target Audience: Kids looking to try running events or to challenge themselves.
• Event Series: A three-event race series happening in June, July, and August.
• Start Time: Races will start promptly at 6:00pm.

📍 Race Location

• Course: Loop course at Glacier Ridge Metro Park.
• Starting Point: Dog Park area, Google Maps pin here.
• Course Maps: Available for 1 and 2 mile options here.
• 1/2 Mile Option: Course map available here.

💲 Cost

• Individual Event: $15.00 each.
• T-Shirt Add-On: $10.
• All 3 Events: $40 total.
• Value: A great deal for a summer of racing!

🎉 Extras

• Goodies: Asics will provide fun goodies and snacks pre/post run.
• Popsicles: Available after the race for athletes and parents.
• Cheering Signs: Create a sign at packet pick-up to cheer on your young athlete!

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• Registration Opens: 5:15pm (until 7:30pm).
• 1/4 Mile Race: 5:55pm (5 and Under ONLY).
• 1/2 Mile Race: 6:05pm.
• 1-Mile Races: 6:20pm (Grades K-5) & 6:35pm (Grades 6-12).
• 2-Mile Races: 7:05pm (Grades K-5) & 7:35pm (Grades 6-12).

🙋‍♀️ Participation

• Running Together: One parent can run with their registered athlete.
• Course Rules: Adults are encouraged to let kids have their fun.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Fleet Feet Lewis Center (Google Maps here).
• Dates: June 11th, July 9th, and August 13th from 11am-5:15pm or 4:30pm.
• On-Site Registration: Available on race day with QR code registration process.

🙌 Distance Choices

• Flexibility: Athletes can switch distances before the race.
• Communication: Discuss with your athlete which distance they want to run.
• Notification: Notify Race Penguin timing staff if changing distances mid-race.

⚽ Community Initiative

• Equipment Collection: Bring used athletic equipment and receive a portion of your race fee refunded.
• Partnering with: Leveling the Playing Field to benefit youth sports.
• Contribution: Collection bins will be available at races.
