Reach Out and Run 5K

Welcome to the 7th Annual Reach Out and Run 5K

Welcome to registration for the 7th Annual Reach Out and Run 5K Run/Walk sponsored by Medway Community Church!!! This race offers the chance to compete on a fast course, support some great local organizations, and have a morning of fun for the entire family. Our 5K course is USATF certified and sure to make for an exciting race! This year, we will also have a KIDS RUN for the little ones once the 5K wraps up so be sure to bring the younger ones along too.

Event Details

This year’s event will occur on Saturday, August 29th.

Proceeds Distribution

• 33% Donation: 33% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Medway House Family Shelter, a program of SMOC (South Middlesex Opportunity Council). The Medway House is an emergency shelter for 12 homeless families at a time.
• Support to Food Pantries: 67% of the proceeds from the event will go equally towards supporting the Franklin Food Pantry and the Medway Village Food Pantry, which both support those facing food insecurity in the Franklin/Medway area.

Registration Information

All participants who register by August 7th will be guaranteed a Reach Out and Run 5K shirt that you can pick up with your race bib on race day. The registration fee for adults is $30. Children 12 and under are $10. 100% of your registration fee will go directly to Medway House, Franklin Food Pantry, and Medway Food Pantry.

Donation Option

If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate you can click on the Donate button at the top of the page. Those proceeds go directly to the organizations.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the top male and female finisher as well as the top finishers in each age group.

Family Participation

So...…running a race is not quite your thing? This event is truly for the entire family and community! Non-runners and families are invited to:

• 5K Walk: Participate in the 5K walk portion of the event
• Cheering: Cheer on our racers at the start and finish line or along the course
• Kids Activities: Participate in fun kids activities like crafts and games
• KIDS RUN: Have the kids run our kid-sized KIDS RUN
