Event Overview
The Run for North Caldwell features two events, a USATF-sanctioned 5K and a 1-mile Color Run, with the net proceeds from each used to improve North Caldwell’s athletic fields and recreational facilities.
Registration Details
- Events: Participants can register for either or both events, which are open to runners and walkers of all ages.
- Additional Fees: Participants in the 5K can register for the Color Run for an additional $10 charge, and vice versa.
- Awards: Separate awards will be given for participants who are students at North Caldwell's schools (Grandview Elementary and Gould Elementary), as well as for middle school and high school participants.
- Online Registrations: All online registrations completed by August 31, 2026 include an event shirt.
Event Day Race Materials Pickup
- Location: Parking Lot next to North Caldwell Borough Hall, 141 Gould Ave, North Caldwell, NJ
- Schedule: Friday (9/18) from 5pm-8pm (recommended) or Saturday (9/19) from 6am until the start of the respective events.
- Items Received: 5K participants will receive their bib and Color Run participants will receive their color packets. Early registrants will also receive event shirts.
- Important: For Color Run participants, do not open your color packets until instructed at the start of the race.
Event Day Parking
- Parking Lots: Liberty Field (pool side only), Firemen's Field.
- Street Parking: Gould Ave (west of Maywood Ct only), Park Ave, Maywood Ct, Cambridge Dr.
- Access Note: The entrance to Gould Ave from Mountain Ave and Park Ave will be closed around 7:15am. Access Gould Ave via Central Ave after this time.

- 8:00am: Race Start | Volunteers and signs will be stationed throughout the course to guide you.
- 9:00am: Award Presentation
- 9:30am: Color Run Start
Health Guidelines
All CDC and NJ DOH guidelines in place at the time of the event will be followed.
