- 5k: Race begins at 8:00 a.m.
- Fun Run: 1/2 mile Fun Run starts at 7:45 a.m.

- Support: All proceeds from the race will go to support Winnie’s Wish that all rescue dogs with special needs obtain proper care and loving homes!

🏁 Course Description
- Type: Starting at the Arthur Ray Teague Boat launch
- Route: Real simple out and back on the bike path
📝 Registration
- Early Registration: $25 until August 29th
- Regular Registration: $30 from Aug. 30th – Sept. 5th
- Race Day Registration: $35
- Shirt Sizes: Guaranteed for those who register by midnight August 27th
😴 Sleep-in Supporter
- Option: Don’t feel like getting up and running? Not a problem!
- Perk: Sign up as a sleep-in supporter to receive a race shirt without running!
🎽 Packet Pick Up
- Date: Thursday Sept. 4th from noon - 6:00 p.m.
- Date: Friday Sept. 5th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Race Day: Packet pick up starts at the Race Site at 7:00 a.m.
🏆 Awards
- Overall Awards: Overall Male & Female finishers will receive a $200 cash prize and a trophy.
- Age Group Awards: 1st Place Male & Female in the following age groups will also receive a trophy.
- Categories: Age Groups: 12 & under, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
🎉 Post Party
- Refreshments: Be sure to stay after the race for refreshments and awards!
- Adoption Information: Several area animal rescue organizations also plan to be present with adoptable pets and information about their organizations!
📋 Special Notes
- Dogs: You are welcome to bring your dog to the race, as long as it is leashed at all times.
- Allowed: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand-pushed or pulled vehicle will also be allowed on the course, but at a walking pace only.
- Restrictions: Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates, or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
