Berryville Turkey Trot 5K & 1 Mile Kids Fun Run

Race Location

• PLACE: Clarke County Parks & Recreation located at: 225 Al Smith Circle, Berryville, VA. 22611.
• DESCRIPTION: This 5K and 1-Mile Kids Fun Run, will be held on the fitness trail and the roadway coming into the park.
• PARK: Chet Hobert Park is a 102-acre property West of Berryville.

Race Details

• WHEN: Saturday, November 14, 2026, 5K starts at 9:00 AM and the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run starts at 10:00 AM.
• KIDS ELIGIBILITY: The Fun Run is for kids 10 and under.
• START/FINISH: The start and finish line will be in front of the parks & rec. building.
• SUPPORT: This is an SVR supported race along with 5 Runners Racing, that will be providing the chip timing.

Registration Information

• COST: The 5K cost is $35.00 and the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run is $25.00.
• DISCOUNTS: Members of the Shenandoah Valley Runners, receive a $3.00 registration discount.
• DEADLINE: REGISTER by Oct. 31 midnight, to guarantee a race T-shirt.
• SAFETY: For insurance purposes and everyone's safety, please no dogs on leashes, baby strollers or headphones.

Awards and Prizes

• TROPHIES: Overall trophy plaques to the top three finishers (male & female) for each race.
• MEDALS: The top three in each 10-year age group in the 5K, will be recognized with medals.
• MASTERS: Masters' winners (male & female) will get an award (40 and over).
• DOOR PRIZES: There will be frozen turkeys and other great door prizes to give away.

Event Logistics

• BIB PICK UP: Bib pick up is Friday November 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 at John H. Enders Fire and Rescue Co. social hall.
• LOCATION: Alternatively, pick up at the race registration table starting at 7:30, before the race located in the Parks & Rec. building.
• CHECK IN: Look for the Check In Banner.

Community Support

• FOOD DRIVE: We are partnering with FISH of Clarke County Food Pantry and will be collecting items Friday evening and Saturday morning at the race.
• ITEMS: We will be collecting canned soup, vegetables, meat and kidney beans, boxed and canned pasta, cereal, canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, rice, mashed potatoes, stuffing, peanut butter, jelly, baking items and personal care items.
• GLASS JARS: No glass jars please. We THANK YOU in advance for supporting this food drive!
