Take Flight 5k & 1 Mile Run

✈️ The 13th Annual Take Flight 5k

Let your feet take flight on the Greenville Downtown Airport runway for one of the most unique running experiences and flattest 5k races around.

• Late Registration: 6:30 am
• Ceremony Start: 7:30 am
• 5k Race Begins: 8:00 am
• 1 Mile Race Begins: 8:45 am

🎉 Event Highlights

• Costumes: Highly encouraged with fun as mandatory!
• Groups: Official groups will be publicly recognized.
• Prizes: Available between races.
• Strollers: Allowed, but no pets.

💖 Honoring Veterans

We will take a moment to honor our fallen veterans with a small ceremony prior to the race. The Civil Air Patrol will conduct the missing comrade ceremony. We are working with the other ceremony participants.

📦 Bib & Shirt Pickup

• Thursday, May 21st: 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the loop between Takeoff Minigolf and the Museum.
• Friday, May 22nd: 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the loop between Takeoff Minigolf and the Museum.
• Saturday, May 23rd: 6:30am - 7:45am.

• 5k Race: Top 3 Males & Females Overall.
• Age Groups: Awards for top 3 Males & Females in categories 0-9, 10-12, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, and 80+.
• 1 Mile Race: Top 3 Male and Female Overall.
• Youth Age Group Categories: Awards for top 3 in 1-9, 10-12, 13-16, and 17-19 for Boys & Girls.
