If you’ve ever watched Forrest Gump and thought, “Hey, I could run across America too… or at least a few miles,” then the Run Forrest Run 5K is calling your name louder than Jenny yelling from a school bus window.

Race Experience

• Course: Expect a course sprinkled with Forrest-approved surprises: a white feather start line, a Bubba-Gump-style finish, and mile markers that remind you just how long Jenny kept Forrest waiting.
• Costumes: Costumes are highly encouraged—so grow out that majestic running beard, throw on your brightest yellow “happy face” T-shirt, and don’t forget the classic red hat.
• Fun: You might even be overtaken by someone in a ping-pong outfit or a full shrimp costume. It’s fine. It’s all part of the experience.
• Philosophy: After all… life is like a 5K—you never know what you’re gonna get.
