If you’ve ever watched Forrest Gump and thought, “Hey, I could run across America too… or at least a few miles,” then the Run Forrest Run 5K is calling your name louder than Jenny yelling from a school bus window.

Race Experience

Join us for a race where the only rule is to keep moving—because once you start running, who knows when you’ll stop? (Hopefully at the finish line. We do not provide cross-country escort vehicles.)

• Course: Expect a course sprinkled with Forrest-approved surprises: a white feather start line, a Bubba-Gump-style finish, and mile markers that remind you just how long Jenny kept Forrest waiting.
• Costumes: Costumes are highly encouraged—so grow out that majestic running beard, throw on your brightest yellow “happy face” T-shirt, and don’t forget the classic red hat.
• Fun Atmosphere: You might even be overtaken by someone in a ping-pong outfit or a full shrimp costume. It’s fine. It’s all part of the experience.
• Quote: “That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little run...” — and so can you!
