EpicPromise 5K Charity Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join Stowe Mountain Resort and the EpicPromise Foundation for a 5K trail run/walk at Stowe Mountain Resort's beautiful cross-country center! This is a family-friendly event for both competitive and casual runners and walkers. After the race, stick around to enjoy the awards and festivities. This 5K benefits the EpicPromise Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit funded by Vail Resorts, company employees, and the community. We provide over $1M annually in grants for unplanned hardships and educational scholarships to Vail Resorts employees and their families.

🎉 Community Involvement

• Register: Create an individual fundraiser (or a team fundraiser) and help us raise money for the EpicPromise Employee Foundation.
• Inclusive Event: This is a whole community event! Whether you are a supportive family member or friend, a medical provider, or a compassionate community member -- we invite you to this special community event!

🕘 Event Details

• Check-in: Bib pick-up is from 9:00–9:50am, and DJ Rekkon will be playing music to warm everyone up!
• Start Time: The Run & Walk begins at 10:00am from the Stowe Mountain Resort Cross-Country Center.
• Course: The course is a loop that follows the beautiful trails of Stowe Mountain Resort's Cross-Country Center.
• Refreshments: Water will be available at the event, but please bring your reusable water bottles. Stick around after the race for awards and other festivities!

🌮 Post-Race Festivities

Caja Madera will be on site slinging tacos from 10:30-12:30PM, and we have some special drinks by Fiddlehead Brewing Company!

The proceeds from the 5K Trail Run & Walk benefits the EpicPromise Employee Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit funded by Vail Resorts, company employees, and the community. They provide over $1M annually in grants for unplanned hardships and educational scholarships to Vail Resorts employees and their families.

👟 Participation Options

• Open to All: Participants of all ages and paces are welcome to run or walk in-person, or choose our virtual 5K option.
• Special Incentive: The first 50 to register will receive a special buff with the EpicPromise tagline of "Kindness Moves Mountains"!
