The Fairfax Egg Run is a family-friendly community event hosted by the Fairfax Parks and Recreation Department.

🌟 Race Details

• Location: 8 Fletcher Road, Fairfax, VT
• Events: 5K Run, 10K Run, 5K Fun Walk, Kids Fun Run (12 and under)
• Course: Beautiful route with gentle, rolling hills and views of the Lamoille River

• Food: Made-to-order omelet featuring locally sourced ingredients and other refreshments
• Commemorative Item: Option to order a Race T-shirt when you register
• Proceeds: Benefit the Fairfax Community Center Restoration Project
• Community Impact: Supports weekly classes and activities for residents

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Top Finishers: Prizes for the three top finishers in the 5K Run and 10K Run
• Age Group Awards: Top three performers in each age group will be recognized
• Raffle: Automatic entry into a post-race raffle with great prizes
• Timing: Chip-timed race provided by 802 Timing

🎉 Franklin County Triple Crown

In 2026 the Fairfax Parks and Recreation Department is again teaming up with the organizers of the Vermont Maple Festival Sap Run in St. Albans and the Vermont Dairy Festival Milk Run in Enosburg Falls to present the Franklin County Triple Crown!

• Goal: To recognize the importance of agriculture to the region while promoting a healthy lifestyle
• Commemorative Item: Participants in all three races will receive a special item
• Prizes: Entry into a drawing for fabulous prizes for participants
