Jarred Williams Turkey Trot benefiting Never Give Up Ever 2026

Event Overview

Purpose and Participation

• Cause: Support families experiencing financial hardship and families with a child at UVM Children's Hospital.
• Participation: Choose between an in-person or virtual 5K or 10K.
• Timing: Participants are responsible for their timing: optional finish times and photos accepted.
• Health Considerations: Choose the virtual option if experiencing cold symptoms.

Race Details

• Course: Out and back on Cochoran Road: Start and Finish halfway down Farr Rd. (Behind Stone Corral Brewery).
• T-shirt Pick Up: Richmond Community Kitchen on November 25th from 5 PM - 7 PM: first 150 attendees guaranteed a shirt.
• After Race Treat: Enjoy apple cider and cider doughnuts from Hackett’s Orchard.
• Parking: Volunteer Green and lower space before the Round Church if the ground is dry: no parking around the loop of the Round Church.

Facilities and Prizes

• Restroom Access: Port a-Potty available near the start.
• Prizes: Top finishers of the in-person 5K will be eligible for prizes on race day.
• Community Support: Donations of non-perishable items for Golisano Children’s Hospital food pantry appreciated.
• Special Thanks: Gratitude to the Williams family, Richmond Historical Society, JoAnn’s, and Hackett’s Orchard.
