NYE Run/Walk to Highlight

Event Overview

A scenic fun run or walk on the Burlington bike path to help finish 2025 on a healthy note and provide some positive momentum for the New Year. The RunVermont NYE Run/Walk to Highlight offers out and back course distance options of 1 mile, 5K, and 5 miles.

• Start Time: 2:00 PM
• Location: Near ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain
• Pre-event Assembly: Participants should assemble shortly before 2:00 PM for pre-fun-run announcements.
• Distance Options: 1 mile, 5K, and 5 miles

Participation Information

This is an untimed event and there will not be bibs distributed or check in, but please register all participants, including children in jogging strollers.

Post-Event Festivities

Participants should plan to stick around Burlington and Waterfront Park after the fun run for other Highlight festivities, including live music, the burning of Champ, and fireworks.
