This is a staple 5k of the Pine Belt area! Come join us on Monday, September 7, 2026

• Location: Parkway Heights United Methodist Church, 2420 Hardy St, Hattiesburg, MS.
• Event Date: September 7, 2026
• Theme: Wear your crazy socks and run for Ryan!

Registration Information

• Discount: A Discounted Race Registration Option for the 5k run or walk is available.
• Deadline: Discounted rate available until 12:00 p.m. on August 18, 2026.
• Online Registration: Closes at 12:00 pm (noon) (CDT) on Friday, Sept 4, 2026.

Race and Course Details

• Start Time: 5k Run/Walk starts at 7:30 a.m.: arrive by 7:15 a.m. for announcements.
• Course: Smooth with inclines and declines, through The Oaks District of Hattiesburg.
• Safety: Traffic monitors on course: exercise caution.
• Aid Station: One aid station with water and fuel available.

Special Race Rules

• 5k Walk: For *WALKERS ONLY*, no running allowed or you will be disqualified.

Family Fun Run

• Start Time: Immediately following the 5k Run/Walk.
• Location: Through the parking lot of Parkway Heights United Methodist Church, subject to conditions.

Race Shirts

• Guarantee: Register by August 18, 2026, to be guaranteed a Race Shirt!
• Cost: Additional shirts may be purchased for $15.00 ($2.00 extra for 2XL or 3XL).
• Availability: Signing up after August 18 does not guarantee a shirt.

Awards

• 5K Run Awards: 1st Male and Female, Overall, Master, and Grandmaster.
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female for various age groups.
• 5K Walk Awards: Overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Male and Female.

Packet Pickup

• Early Pickup: Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at The ARC Southeast MS Gymnasium.
• Race Day Pickup: Starts at 6:00 a.m. on race day.
• Items: Bibs, race sweatshirts, swag bags, and purchased add-ons will be distributed.
• Alternatives: If you cannot make it, someone can pick up your packet.

Post-Race Activities

• Door Prizes: Several prizes to be given away following the race.
• Refreshments: Plenty of post-race food and drinks available.
• Timing: The race will be timed.
