Hattiesburg Half Marathon, 10k, and 5K

🏃‍♂️ THE RACE:

The 13th annual Hattiesburg Half Marathon • 10k • 5k is set for Saturday, April 5, 2025. The race provides fundraising opportunities for participating Pine Belt nonprofits, while also attracting runners to the Hub City from numerous states. Online registration opens Sunday, Aug. 31, for all three race routes.

🏆 THE COURSE:

The Hattiesburg Half Marathon • 10k • 5k course highlights iconic local landmarks and engages Hattiesburg businesses. The 2025 course will once again wind through downtown, head toward the Avenues, and loop around the Hattiesburg Zoo. A portion of the route also tours The University of Southern Mississippi’s campus before runners blaze down the Longleaf Trace to the finish line.

• Community Engagement: Involves local businesses along the route.
• Scenic Route: Enjoy views of the Hattiesburg Zoo and university campus.
• Local Nonprofits: Each charity will decorate a mile to cheer on runners.

🎗️ CHARITY RUNNER:

A charity runner is a registered race participant who chooses to fundraise on behalf of one of the non-profits participating in the Hattiesburg Half Marathon · 10K · 5K. Charity runners form an alliance with the 501(c)3 of their choosing and provide financial and social engagement support. By choosing to become a charity runner, participants are committing their time, fundraising efforts, and personal allegiance to the charity’s mission.
