Hattiesburg Half Marathon, 10k, and 5K

THE RACE:

The 15th annual Hattiesburg Half Marathon • 10k • 5k is set for Saturday, April 10, 2027. The race provides fundraising opportunities for participating Pine Belt nonprofits, while also attracting runners to the Hub City from numerous.

THE COURSE:

• Start and Finish Line: 201 Forrest Street in front of the Saenger Theatre.
• Course Features: Highlights iconic local landmarks and engages Hattiesburg businesses.
• Route Details: Winds through downtown, heads toward the Avenues, and loops around the Hattiesburg Zoo.
• University Campus: Tours The University of Southern Mississippi’s campus before finishing on the Longleaf Trace.

Each local nonprofit benefiting from the race in 2027 will also “own” a mile by decorating it and cheering on runners as they pass through.

CHARITY RUNNER:

A charity runner is a registered race participant who chooses to fundraise on behalf of one of the non-profits participating in the Hattiesburg Half Marathon · 10K · 5K. Charity runners form an alliance with the 501(c)3 of their choosing and provide financial and social engagement support.

• Commitment: Participants commit their time, fundraising efforts, and personal allegiance to the charity’s mission.
• Support: Share your goal with your social media followers, the mission of your selected nonprofit, and/or a personal testimony.
• Engagement: Challenge your followers to donate. Make it fun! Are you willing to run in a costume?
• Incentives: There may be a prize for the charity runner who raises the most.

REFUND POLICY:

Please note our refund policy: There are no refunds. However, race insurance through an outside vendor is offered during the registration process.

FINISHER’S FEST:

Finisher’s Fest will take place at The Commons at Gordon’s Creek, located at 115 Hardy Street, just a 3-minute walk from the finish line.
