Hattiesburg Half Marathon, 10k, and 5K

THE RACE:

The 14th annual Hattiesburg Half Marathon • 10k • 5k is set for Saturday, April 11, 2026. The race provides fundraising opportunities for participating Pine Belt nonprofits, while also attracting runners to the Hub City from numerous

THE COURSE:

• Start and Finish Line: 201 Forrest Street in front of the Saenger Theatre
• Course Highlights: The course highlights iconic local landmarks and engages Hattiesburg businesses.
• Route Details: The 2026 course will once again wind through downtown, head toward the Avenues, and loop around the Hattiesburg Zoo.
• University Tour: A portion of the route also tours The University of Southern Mississippi’s campus before runners blaze down the Longleaf Trace to the finish line.

Each local nonprofit benefiting from the race in 2026 will also “own” a mile by decorating it and cheering on runners as they pass through.

CHARITY RUNNER:

• Definition: A charity runner is a registered race participant who chooses to fundraise on behalf of one of the non-profits participating in the Hattiesburg Half Marathon · 10K · 5K.
• Alliance: Charity runners form an alliance with the 501(c)3 of their choosing and provide financial and social engagement support.
• Commitment: By choosing to become a charity runner, participants are committing their time, fundraising efforts and personal allegiance to the charity’s mission.
• Engagement: Share your goal with your social media followers, the mission of your selected nonprofit, and/or a personal testimony. Make it fun!

Challenge your followers to donate. Are you willing to run in a costume? Jump in a pool of jello? What will inspire your followers to support you? There may be a prize for the charity runner who raises the most.

REFUND POLICY:

There are no refunds. However, race insurance through an outside vendor is offered during the registration process.

FINISHER’S FEST:

Finisher’s Fest will be held at The Commons at Gordon’s Creek, 115 Hardy Street (a 3-minute walk from the finish line).
