Molten Mohawk Niner (and 4 Miler)

Race Overview

• Race Cap: Race Will Be Capped at 1000 Athletes
• Location: The Molten Mohawk Niner will start and finish in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at Thomley's Christmas Tree Farm (50 Hegwood Road).
• Course Options: Athletes can choose to run the challenging nine mile course or the shorter 4 mile course. Both courses are on paved roads.
• Post-Race Gathering: Once completing the distance, runners will gather back at Thomley's Christmas Tree Farm socializing around GIANT bonfires and watching our artist fire up their glass, creating works of art.

Finisher Rewards

• Medal: All FINISHERS will receive a glass blown race medal made by Mohawk Steel and Glass.
• Shirt: Participants will receive our signature MM9R race shirt.
• Treats: Warm beverages and sweet treats will be served to our FINISHERS.
• Support Local Artists: This race highlights local artists and will raise funds for the Oak Grove Cross Country team.

Race Schedule

• Packet Pick-Up: Friday evening from 4:30-7:30 and again on Saturday from 6:00-7:00 am at Thomley's Christmas Tree Farm.
• Race Start: The Molten Mohawk Niner (and 4 miler) starts at 7:30 am.
• Course Closure: Courses close at 9:45 am.
• Awards Ceremony: Custom awards will be presented around 10:00 am, with finish line gathering blazing until 11:00 am.

Registration Includes

• Medal: Custom MM9R glass blown medal made by Mohawk Steel and Glass Co.
• Pint Glass: MM9R Signature pint glass with a BEER BRULEE’.
• T-Shirt: MM9R T shirt - YOU choose short or long sleeve.
• Excitement: We can not wait to spoil YOU on 2-21-26 in Hattiesburg.

Virtual Runners

• Run on Your Schedule: You will run either distance on your own schedule.
• Results Submission: Once you have completed your distance, please email your results to rhonda@kindagritty.com.
• Finishers Photo: If you would like a finishers photo emailed back to you, you will need to send a full body picture of you at the completion of your distance.
• Packet Mailing: Virtual packets will be mailed out the week following the race, with a typical delivery time of up to three weeks.
