Race Overview

• Participation Cap: Race will be capped at 1000 athletes.
• Course Options: Athletes can choose to run the challenging nine mile course or the flat 4 mile course on paved roads.
• Post-Race Gathering: Runners will socialize around GIANT bonfires and watch artists create works of art with glass and metal.
• Finishers' Rewards: All finishers will receive a glass blown race medal made by Mohawk Steel and Glass and our signature MM9R race shirt.

Schedule of Events

• Packet Pickup: At Thomley's Christmas Tree Farm, 50 Hegwood, Hattiesburg, MS, on Friday from 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM and Saturday from 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM.
• Race Start: The Molten Mohawk Niner (and 4 miler) will start at 7:30 AM.
• Course Closure: Courses will close at 9:45 AM.
• Awards Ceremony: Custom awards at approximately 10:00 AM, with finish line gathering until 11:00 AM.

Registration Includes

• Custom Medal: MM9R glass blown medal made by Mohawk Steel and Glass Co.
• Pint Glass: MM9R Signature pint glass with a BEER BRULEE’.
• T-Shirt: MM9R T shirt - you choose short or long sleeve.
• Sample: LMNT sample included.

Virtual Runners

• Run on Your Schedule: You will run either distance at your own pace.
• Email Results: Once completed, email your results to rhonda@kindagritty.com.
• Finishers Photo: To receive a finishers photo, send a full body picture of you after completing your distance.
• Packet Delivery: Virtual packets will be mailed out the week following the race: allow up to three weeks for arrival.
