Race Overview

• Date: September 19, 2026
• Location: 121 S. Steinhart Park Road, Nebraska City, NE
• Event: Annual 5K run/walk in conjunction with the AppleJack Festival
• Registration Note: T-shirts are not guaranteed if you register after August 31, 2026

Event Details

• Participation: Open to everyone from beginners to experienced road runners
• Community Impact: Proceeds benefit the Nebraska City community
• Route: Starts at Steinhart Park: includes brick, gravel, and rough terrain
• Strollers and Dogs: Welcome and encouraged (on leashes)

Schedule

• Meet Time: 7:00 a.m. at Steinhart Park in front of Steinhart Aquatic Center
• Run Start: 7:30 a.m. Rain or Shine!
• Parking: Free parking available at Steinhart Lodge and Nebraska City High School
• Restrooms: Available at the start/finish

Kids Run

• Start Time: 8:30 a.m. in Steinhart Park
• Cost: Free (no registration necessary for kids)
• T-shirts: No shirts provided for the kids run
